The Chancel Choir prepares and presents choral music and leads the congregational singing in the worship services. The group is made up of youth as well as adults who enjoy singing - - bridging the "generation gap." Very special friendships can be made with other people sharing the same interests. It can also be an opportunity for couples or parents and young adults to share in a church activity.

Rehearsals are held each Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.

Soloists and ensembles are encouraged to share their musical talents for worship services and special occasions. These may be either vocal or instrumental and will provide an opportunity for those who would participate in the music of the church. Scheduling and rehearsal is arranged with the Music Director.

Seasonal choirs may also be formed, giving those who cannot make the regular choir rehearsal an opportunity to sing with a group.

This ensemble of men is singing once a month in worship. They have also gone to the nursing home and could provide musical entertainment for community or civic groups also to share the message of Jesus beyond the walls of the church. They currently have a barbershop/Southern gospel flavor to their music. All men who sing are invited to join this 4 part harmony group. 

The handbell choir is a unique experience and is a wonderful opportunity for those who may not sing or play any other instrument, but truly enjoy music. It requires good coordination and a willingness to learn something new. You do not need to know how to read regular music notes. This group provides music for worship services on special occasions.
